Jesus said, "You see the sliver in your friend's eye, but you don't see the timber in your own eye. 2 When you take the timber out of your own eye, then you will see well enough to remove the sliver from your friend's eye. [Complete Gospels]

(Thomas 1:26–27 AGOSP-T)

(2) 1Q: Luke 6:41-42 = Matt 7:3-5

Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? 6:42 Or how can you say to your neighbor, 'Friend, let me take out the speck in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor's eye.

= Matt 7:3-5

Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your neighbor, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' while the log is in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor's eye.
